Application Information
1. Which leadership position are you applying for?
Chief of Medicine (EMS)
2. List three reasons why you would like to be the Chief of Medicine of this organization.
-Elevating Medical Standards: I am passionate about ensuring the highest level of realistic and professional medical roleplay is delivered across all EMS operations, focusing on complex scenarios and in-depth treatment.
-Mentorship and Skill Development: I aim to create a challenging and supportive environment where I can mentor high-ranking staff and specialized units, helping them master advanced medical procedures and leadership skills.
-Inter-Departmental Medical Liaison: I want to serve as the key medical expert for the department, coordinating medical protocols with other state organizations (Police, FIB) to ensure a seamless and unified emergency response across the city.
3. List three suggestions/steps you will take to improve the roleplay of the organization during your term.
- Establish a "Specialized Treatment Unit" (STU): Create a dedicated, higher-tier unit focusing on critical and rare medical cases (e.g., mass casualty incidents, complex surgical/trauma RP, long-term care scenarios) to push the boundaries of EMS roleplay beyond basic revive and transport.
- Advanced Certification System: Implement mandatory, scenario-based certifications for different ranks (e.g., Trauma Care Certified, Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certified). This ensures professionalism, gives members clear goals, and makes promotion criteria objective and skill-based.
- Medical Equipment & Protocol Overhaul: Regularly review and update the department's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and in-game equipment usage to reflect medically accurate roleplay for the injuries encountered, keeping the RP fresh and challenging.
4. List at least two ideas for events/activities that you will create/organize to improve your organization.
-"Mass Casualty Simulation" (MASCAL Drill): A major training event involving a large-scale disaster scenario (e.g., multi-car pile-up, explosion) that requires full activation of EMS, inter-agency coordination with PD/FIB, and the application of Triage and advanced trauma care protocols.
-"Clinical Case Review" Sessions: Weekly or bi-weekly internal sessions where EMS staff review challenging or unique RP calls from the week. This provides educational value, allows staff to share best practices, and identifies areas for protocol improvement.
5. List any other information/ideas you may have.
-I plan to introduce a "Field Training Officer (FTO)" system for experienced high-ranking medics to shadow and formally evaluate new recruits' performance in-character, ensuring the quality of new members' RP is consistently high before they are certified for solo work.
-I truly believe my commitment to high-quality, realistic medical RP will set a new standard for professionalism and depth within the EMS organization.
6. How many members can you bring to the organization?
-While my focus will be on the quality and training of current staff, I anticipate bringing 5-10 active and high-quality members who share a passion for realistic medical roleplay and are committed to professional conduct.
