Kidnapping Rules

1.1 It is forbidden to hold more than two people hostage or rob simultaneously. | Verbal, up to warn.

1.2 A minimum of four players is required to take a hostage, and five or more are required to take a second hostage. | Verbal, up to warn.

1.3 Hostages can be exchanged with LEOs for the following ransom amounts:
  • Civilian: $75,000
  • State Employee: $100,000
  • High Command: $125,000
  • Deputy: $150,000
  • Leader: $200,000
    Exception: Hostage takers may ask for free passage instead of cash. For one hostage, free passage may include either removal of barricades/spikes or 5-10 seconds of escape time. For both free passage demands, two hostages are required.
1.4 Only one demand per hostage is allowed. | Verbal, up to warn.

1.5 Holding hostages without requesting negotiators is forbidden. | Verbal, up to warn.

1.6 The state has 15 minutes to respond and begin negotiations. If no negotiators arrive, criminals may kill or release the hostages. | Verbal, up to warn.

1.7 Taking hostages immediately following scripted events (e.g., 24/7, gun store, bank, casino robbery, and Fort Zancudo raid) is forbidden. | Warn.

1.8 Stalling negotiations is forbidden. | Verbal, up to warn.

1.9 It is only allowed to kill/rob or take hostage in the danger zones, outside the city or in dark alleyways between 20:00 - 0:00. | Warn.
